Presentation of Ducati MotoGP 2025: Bagnaia and Márquez reveal the new Desmosedici GP25

In the picturesque setting of Madonna di Campiglio, the Ducati Lenovo team presented the design of the Desmosedici GP25, the bike with which Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez will tackle the upcoming MotoGP World Championship.

The Dream Team: Bagnaia and Márquez

The duo made up of Bagnaia, a three-time world champion, and Márquez, an eight-time world champion, has been defined as a true "dream team." Both riders expressed great enthusiasm for the new season. Bagnaia said: "I spent my winter analyzing the mistakes and things to improve, we start with an extra motivation. I have a new teammate, with whom we will start doing important work, we are excited and there is a lot of desire to finish what we missed last year".

Márquez, making his debut with Ducati, stated: "It's really exciting to join the leading team in MotoGP. I’m very happy, I’ve fought against Ducati and this year being in the official team is truly a privilege. I have butterflies in my stomach".

The New Desmosedici GP25

The Desmosedici GP25 maintains the classic Ducati red color, with some changes in the design. Bagnaia will return to use number 63, after two years with the number 1 as world champion, while Márquez will feature his iconic 93. The team aims to further improve the bike's performance, as highlighted by Ducati Corse's general manager, Gigi Dall'Igna: "The goal is not to completely change the bike but to improve it because we start from a solid base. We must be careful in introducing innovative solutions to this bike".

Goals for the 2025 Season

The Ducati Lenovo team aims to reclaim both the rider and constructor titles in 2025. Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, expressed confidence in the team's potential: "Ducati will start the season with all the right cards in hand, so let’s go!".

The 2025 MotoGP season will begin on February 28th in Thailand, marking the start of an exciting new adventure for the Ducati team and its riders.
